ABOUT US

I started Dog Cult after working in pet care on Chicago's Northside for ten years. In 2020, I lost the long time dog walking gig I'd loved with the arrival of the Coronavirus pandemic. Some months later, my boyfriend and business partner, Adam, our anxious rescue dog, Penny, and I ended up moving down to Beverly. It seemed like the perfect opportunity to realize my longtime dream of running my own pet care business.

It can be hard to find quality, reliable pet care. At Dog Cult we provide the same level of love and care to your pets that we do to our own. You consider your pet a member of your family, and when you join Dog Cult they'll be a member of ours.

SERVICES AND FEES

Our standard walk lasts 25 minutes. Some dogs don't quite need that long so we also offer 15 minute visits. Walks are scheduled in 2 hour windows during normal operating hours, Monday-Friday 10am-4pm. We also offer discounts for regular walkers (2+ walks/week).

15 min: $15

25 min: $20

CAT CARE

We offer care for your feline family members as well. A usual visit includes feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, and giving medication if needed. The rest of the time we'll hang out to play and give them some love and attention.

25 min: $20

>2 Cats: +$5

Holidays: +$10

DOG SITTING

Includes 3-25 minute visits over the course of a day. We will also feed and give any needed medications while there. Sitting is done in your home. We do not stay overnight. If your dog needs more than three visits, walks can be added a la carte from the dog walking menu.

HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR WALKS?

Call, text, or email so we can have a chat about what services you're looking for. If we're able to meet your needs, we'll set up a meet and greet in your home so we can get acquainted with your pet before we start visits.

DO YOU REQUIRE A REGULAR SCHEDULE?

We don't require regular weekly walk schedules and are happy to provide services on demand as long as we have enough notice and enough coverage the day you need us. We do prioritize clients that have regularly weekly walk schedules. We also provide discounts for clients who meet walk minimums during the week.

2-3 days a week=5% off

4-5 days a week=10% off

HOW DO YOU GET IN?

If you have keyless entry we'll use that. Otherwise we'll hold onto 2 copies of your keys.

HOW ARE WALKS SCHEDULED?

Walks are scheduled in 2-3 hour windows during regular business hours, Monday-Friday 10-4pm. Keep in mind our walk time starts when we enter your home and ends when we leave after the walk.

WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS?

Regular service hours are Monday-Friday 10am-4pm. Services may be arranged before and after those hours and on weekends for an additional fee ($5). We are also closed on most major holidays.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

Walks can be cancelled until 10am the morning of the walk. Not cancelling before 10am will result in a full charge for that day's walk.

HOW DO I PAY?

You will be billed biweekly on Fridays with payment due the following Friday. We accept Venmo, PayPal, Check, and Cash.

ARE YOU INSURED?

Absolutely! Dog Cult is insured through Pet Care Insurance (PCI).

WHAT CORONAVIRUS PRECAUTIONS DO YOU TAKE?

Everyone that works for Dog Cult is fully vaccinated. If you are home during walks we can arrange no contact pickup. We carry masks with us and will gladly wear them in your home if requested. We will also communicate immediately should there be any confirmed positive exposure among our staff or clients.
